It’s what I felt, too.
Tex moved an inch closer, his body pressed to mine.
“There is a hell of a lot I want with you, Calissa. There’s a lot I want to fucking do to you.”
Shivers raced up my spine.
“Whoa!” Megs’ voice was shocked, and my heart jumped to my throat.
Tex didn’t move, didn’t take his focus from my belly for another moment. I turned and looked at Megs. She stood a few feet from us, a bottle of whiskey in her hand, her eyes wide as she looked between the both of us. Tex finally acknowledging her.
“What did I miss?” Megs said, still looking between us.
“Miss?” Tex said, his voice deep, his body still pressed to mine.
The air was thick, hot.
I gently pushed Tex away but his body was like a brick wall. He was immovable.
“I have to say—” Megs said and I glanced at her, knowing I probably looked as shocked as she felt. “I have to say that it’s about damn time.”
My heart stopped and I felt my jaw slacken.
About time?
“What?” I stuttered out. I managed to push Tex away then, but kept my hand on the wall, bracing myself up.
She shook her head but was smiling. “Yeah. It’s about time the two of you stopped beating around the damn bush and got together.”
I looked at Tex, saw his expression was blank, his attention on his sister.
“All right, you two.” She grinned even wider. “I got people who are thirsty.” She held up the bottle of whiskey. She went to turn away, but stopped and looked back at us. “And for the record, I’m glad you two are finally stopping with the longing gazes and avoidance tactics.”
“That obvious, huh?” Tex said, his hand now on the wall by my head, caging me in, his intent for me to stay put crystal clear.
“I’d have to be blind not to have noticed it,” she said point blank, her expression stoic. She turned and left us alone, and for a long moment we didn’t move. Tex finally looked at me. He was an inch from me, his mouth so close I felt the warm, beer-laced scent of his breath moving along my mouth.
“Was that for real? That just happened?”
“Oh, yeah. That fucking happened.”
Before he could say anything else I placed my mouth on his, kissing him with all the pent-up arousal I had in me. I pulled back, my breathing hard, my movement almost reckless.
“So, we’re starting this?” I asked, looking at his mouth. His lips were red from the kiss, probably how mine were, as well.
“It’s already been started. No going back now.” And then he kissed me hard, passionately, and fucked my lips like I wanted him to do between my thighs.
There really was no going back.

I shut the front door and stared at Calissa. We’d gone back to my place to talk, but that was the last thing I wanted to do. I didn’t want to push her, didn’t want her to think all I wanted was sex. Of course, I wanted my dick deep in her pussy. I wanted to claim her, have my balls slapping her ass as I fucked her, make her take every hard, thick inch of me.
But I wanted more.
I wanted to give her my child, wanted my baby growing in her. I wanted her by my side, as my woman, my wife. She was younger than me, had her whole life ahead of her still, but I’d take care of her, give her everything she needed, anything she wanted.
She turned and faced me.
I stared at her lips, wanting to kiss them … slide my dick past them. My cock was hard, throbbing. I was ready to drain my balls deep in her, make her take all my cum, fill her womb up with my baby.
I couldn’t deny that with Calissa, when I’d first realized she was a woman—all woman—that I wanted her to be mine, it had been instant. It had been as if someone reached inside of me and wrapped their hand around my heart. It was like she’d cast this spell on me, one that had me twisted up inside, had this noose around my neck. She was the only one who could take the air from me, could bring me to my knees.
And she didn’t even know that’s how I felt, at least she hadn’t. She’d know about that and more before this even started. I wasn’t about to ignore this, not anymore, not when Calissa was the first real thing I’d ever felt. The first real thing I’d ever wanted.
She’s real. This is fucking real.
“Are we really doing this?” she asked softly. “Is this really happening?”
Oh. Fuck. Yeah.
“It should have happened a while ago, Calissa. I should have made you mine when I first realized that’s what I wanted.” I took a step closer. “It was at your eighteenth birthday party. You’d been standing there in a white sundress, your hair piled high on your head, those little pearl earrings catching my eye.” I looked into her eyes. “You remember that night?”
