“Percy?” I rang the bell, and the butler appeared.

“Yes, Madam?”

“They’re putting together an order for me at Seraphina’s boutique. Could you see that it gets here in the next two hours?”

“Of course.”

“Thanks!”

I quickly straightened up the penthouse and moved upstairs. While Percy was preoccupied with other things, I ran a bath. After a long, peaceful soak, I napped. When I awoke, the boutique bag was waiting on the dresser.

I checked my phone. Hale was about thirty minutes away. That gave me plenty of time to prepare.

I Prefer Him Primal

Isent Percy home before I changed into my new duds. I didn’t typically wear lingerie, so I expected to blow Hale’s mind.

As I inspected my reflection, I chewed my lower lip. It was hot, but it was also unlike anything I’d ever worn for him before. I nervously pulled at the short, plaid skirt and adjusted the tie of the shirt that barely covered my boobs.

Maybe fantasy play was too weird for us.

No. I looked cute and playful. The whole point was to escape reality, and this was definitely far away from normal for us.

I twisted my hair into two messy buns instead of my usual single one. Then I put on my blue light glasses and some fruit flavored gloss. Perfect.

If only I’d been this hot in high school.

The door opened and I rushed to the steps, making sure it was Hale.

“Rayne?”

“I’m up here,” I called, rushing back into the master bedroom and dropping to my knees on the carpet. “Ouch.” I stretched to the bed and stole a pillow, stuffing it under my knees as I faced the door.

My heart raced as his footsteps climbed the stairs. Too late to back out now. “Did you ea—” His words cut off. “What…” He laughed nervously. “What’s this?”

I held out a sheet of paper I’d ripped off the notepad in the drawer. “I didn’t do my assignment, sir.”

He tossed his carry-on by the door and rubbed his jaw. “You bad girl.”

His words sent a wave of excitement through me. I nodded repentantly. “Yes, I’ve been very, very bad.”

“Jesus, Rayne.” He chuckled and crossed the room, never taking his eyes off me. “Where did you get that outfit?”

“What do you mean? This is my usual school uniform.”

He closed the distance. Towering over me in his tailored suit, he dragged a finger between my boobs where the blouse gaped open. “And you say you didn’t do your homework?”

I shook my head, looking up at him with big eyes. “I’m sorry, sir.”

He caught my chin in a gentle grip, dragging his thumb over my lips and smearing the sticky gloss to my cheek. “How sorry?”

“Very. I was hoping there might be some extra credit I could do for you.”

“Hmm.” He circled me slowly. “First, you’ll need to be disciplined.”

My head cocked. “Disciplined?” That was a little off-script, but I decided to go with it.

“You want to make this right, don’t you?”

“Yes, sir.”

The metal of his belt clinked as he loosened his clothes. “Then get your ass over here.” He lowered onto the bench at the foot of the bed and patted his lap.

I moved to stand—

“Eh, eh, eh.” He held out a finger. “Did I say you could stand?”

Hiding a smirk, I shifted to my hands and knees and crawled to him. “How do you want me, sir.”

He stretched out his legs and patted his lap. “Face down, ass up.”

I swallowed tightly, a little nervous and completely surprised by how quickly he jumped into his role. Was he really going to punish me? “Hale—”

“It’s Mr. Davenport.”

My heart rate spiked as I looked down at his lap, noting the bulge of his erection. “Yes, Mr. Davenport.” I climbed over his lap and lowered my torso to his legs so my hands were planted on the floor, and my ass pointed in the air.

“That’s better.” His hand trailed slowly up my thigh, lifting the skirt and exposing the silk thong wedged between my ass cheeks. The press of his arousal prodding at my rib served as a constant reminder that he was turned on.

“What was the assignment, Rayne?”

“Um…” It was hard to think with the blood rushing to my head and his fingers tickling my ass.

He scraped his fingernails over the soft skin of my ass, and my spine lengthened. I was extremely ticklish on my butt, and he knew it. “I’m waiting.”

I blurted the first thing that came to mind. “The principles of operational management!”

Shit. I inwardly winced. Those damn principles were impossible for me to memorize, even after Hale spent hours trying to help me study them last semester. I was pretty sure my professor was a sadist who hated me for my new last name. I barely ended up passing that class.

Hale’s chuckle was low. He had me right where he wanted. “And what are those principles, Rayne?”
