They both nodded. “But only if the school will let you take remote classes,” Mom warned. “You know how we feel about you finishing college.”
I blinked, looking back and forth between them.
“What’s the matter, son? You look a little pale,” Dad smirked as he reached over and hit me on the side of the arm. “Who knows? We may even get a new daughter-in-law out of this.”
