Beside him, Ned continued jabbering with Jay and Marcie, all but arguing now over not just who was hotter, him or Music Man, but who’d be a better scrapper. As Breck tuned in, Jay cleverly turned it to who could take the other down and force a tap. He predicted Music Man would triumph, not just dominating Ned, but ultimately ‘hitting that ass,’ clearly knowing Ned would take the bait and launch the conversation to a whole new level.

“Please.” Ned scoffed. “I’d make him cry uncle, then show Mr. Wannabe what a real man’s dick fuckin’ feels like.”

Just like that, Jay elicited the reaction he’d been looking for. His intention, in Breck’s opinion, ridiculously clear; steering the subject to raw, hot man-love as a gift to his woman.

All in a lather, Marcie wiggled and nodded as they moved on to debating who could take the other harder. Jay was a meathead, but he wasn’t stupid, knowing Marcie would reward him later, between the sheets. After all, Ned was always game for discussing sex, and had no qualms at all if it happened to involve those with the same equipment.

At first, Jay had been slow to realize all his endless opportunities, but after seeing Marcie’s reaction to Tad and Scott? Ole Goldie Locks had eventually done the math and now was milking it for all it was worth. He was a business major after all, to him no doubt just another variety of investment versus return.

Right on cue, Marcie happily shivered and slid Mr. Business Major some serious fuck-me eyes. “Let’s go dance, Jay.” She all but hauled him from his seat. “This girl’s gotta work some energy out of her system. Move your ass.”

Jay snickered, letting her pull him along.

Ned grinned, watching them go, then abruptly turned to Breck. “I’d totally be the better lay.”

Breck coughed a laugh and nodded. “Without question.”

Ned gestured to the musician. “I mean, look at him. All those facial piercings? What if they got infected? Not sexy at all.”

Breck shook his head in agreement. “Nope.”

“And that goatee? Who’d wanna kiss a guy with all that fur?”

“Not me,” Breck flat-out fucking lied. He loved Kai’s scruff.

“Me, neither,” Ned grunted. And he wasn’t even gay. Ned may be a pervert with an alarmingly open mind, but he couldn’t be more attracted to the ladies. Curious though, his unabashed penchant for anal sex...

Breck decided to have some fun with his riled-up bestie. “Although,” he pondered aloud. “Some might find those faults easily remedied if Mr. Wannabe was merely facing the other way…”

Ned stilled, his drunk gaze regarding the guy anew. “You mean, like doggie style… If Will Turner’s clone was getting banged from behind.”

Breck tamped a laugh. He did look like that Pirates of the Caribbean dude.

Ned’s gaze narrowed thoughtfully. “You’re right. Must find additional flaws…”

Breck rolled his eyes and shook his head. Ned returned to scrutinizing his hypothetical opponent, still lost to the fact that Breck had switched up the dynamics. No longer were they discussing who’d be a more enjoyable fuck, but rather, what kind of a guy another guy would have more fun with in the sack. An easy sleight of hand considering how buzzed Ned was—along with how much he loved banging ass.

“I got it!” Ned snapped his fingers. “Too many tats. It’d totally confuse the tongue. Too many paths to follow.”

“Hmm… Unless one liked to use those tats for target practice.” Breck sighed even as he messed with his buddy. He’d give absolutely anything to go head-to-head with Kai’s badass dragon.

Ned cursed and slapped the table. “Goddamn it. You’re right. And all that lustrous hair,” he bit out tightly, “would make the perfect fuck-dat-ass-harder handle.”

Breck’s stomach clenched, reminded of how he’d longed to gripped Kai’s ponytail. Ever since the very first time he’d laid eyes on the guy.

Ned scowled and took a swig of his beer. “Fuck it. All his shortcomings will come to me later.”

Breck slid him a halfhearted grin. “Along with the fact that no chick could ever fuck him from behind?”

Ned stilled, realization flickering in his eyes. Coughing out a laugh, he countered, even as a flush suffused his cheeks. “My dude. Have you never heard of pegging? It’s all the rave now. The newest big thing. Beware of the strap.”

“Oh, really.” Breck chuckled, lifting a brow. “Is that what you’re letting the ladies do to you these days?”

Ned lifted his chin, “No,” then shrugged. “But you know, it’s not off the table.”

Breck smirked. His bestie was scrambling hard to cover his tracks. “I call bullshit.”

“Pfft.” Ned waved him off. “What do you know?”

Breck exhaled, tired of this stupid conversation, and slid his gaze to the teeming dancefloor. To all those happily vibing couples having a grand ole time.

To his right, Ned went uncharacteristically quiet. Breck glanced at his friend, only to find him regarding Breck with a suspicious eye.
