“I like her already!” Morgan mused.

Dad flashed her grin. “She just came back from some big event in Paris and the New York Fall Fashion week.”

She gasped. “Fall Paris Fashion Week?”

Dad shrugged. “I’m not sure. He didn’t say.”

“Holy shit, I’d say she grew up—look at this,” Ryan said as he turned his phone and showed it to my father.

With a wide smile, Dad replied, “That’s Georgiana. She’s just as pretty as ever, isn’t she, Blayze?”

Ryan turned the phone toward me, though I didn’t need to see the picture. I already knew what she looked like, although I hadn’t seen a picture of her in about a year or so.

Shrugging, I replied, “Yeah, that looks like her.”

My father smirked, and I rolled my eyes. He and Jeff were the ones who found us with my mouth on Georgie and my hand in her panties, on the verge of making her come. Georgie had been horrified, as was I. My father and Jeff were supposed to be off the ranch that day, and still, to this day, I had no idea why they were there or how they even knew where to find us.

Morgan grabbed the phone out of Ryan’s hand and stared at the photo. “I always thought she was pretty when I was little, but wow. She’s beautiful now.”

Ryan nodded. “She sure is. I wonder if she’s still shy.”

Morgan snapped her head up to look at Ryan and stared at him. I wasn’t sure if he could see the hurt in her eyes as clearly as I could. But then that hurt quickly turned to anger.

I took the phone out of Morgan’s hands before she snapped it in two. The woman on the screen wasn’t a teenager anymore. She was a grown woman who was beyond stunning. I wasn’t even sure if beautiful could describe her accurately. Her hair was light brown with streaks of blonde in it. And those eyes. Christ, they were still shockingly green.

Clearing my throat, I handed the phone back to Ryan. “When does she get here?”

Dad put down his mug of beer. “She got in an hour ago, but when she tried to rent a car, they said they were completely out.”

“Why didn’t she reserve one?” Ryan asked.

“She did, but they’re claiming to be out of cars since it’s so late in the day. She had delays in Denver.” My father looked at me and smiled. “That’s where you come in, Blayze.”

It felt like someone just dropped lead into my stomach. “Please tell me you’re not going to ask me to pick her up, Dad.”

“I’m not going to ask you to pick her up, Blayze. I’m going to tell you to pick her up. First thing tomorrow morning. She’s staying at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Missoula.”

Ryan and Morgan both let out a laugh.

“Why can’t Avery go pick her up?” I asked.

“Avery!” Morgan nearly shouted. “She’s not even sixteen yet, you dumbass.”

“Morgan Shaw,” my father said with a warning tone in his voice, although the corner of his mouth lifted some with a hidden laugh.

I pointed to Morgan. “Fine, then Morgan can go and pick her up.”

“Oh, I’ll go Daddy!” Morgan quickly offered up.

Dad shook his head. “I believe you volunteered to help your mother tomorrow morning with planning the fall festival.”

“Crap, that’s right,” Morgan huffed, crossing her arms over her chest once more. This time Ryan knew better than to check her out with our father standing there.

Morgan went to school in Missoula, so it wasn’t out of the ordinary for her to come home on weekends. Especially since her beloved horse, Titan, was here. She lived, ate, and breathed that horse.

Dad focused back on me. “After you pick her up, you should bring her here to the ranch.”

“Where’s she staying? With you and Mom or Grams and Grandpa?” Morgan asked.

My father shook his head then looked at me. “I’m going to need another favor from you.”

I shook my head as well. I knew what was coming. My grandparents were doing a major remodel of damn near their entire house and were staying with my mom and dad. So staying at their house was out of the question. Dad wouldn’t want her to feel uncomfortable with Ty, Tanner, or Dirk, so that meant Georgie would be staying with my folks, but something in his eyes said otherwise.

“No,” I said. “You’ve got plenty of room at your house, even with Grams and Grandpa there.”

He frowned. “The plumbing in the guest bathroom isn’t working because of a root growing into the pipes.”

“Grams and Gramps are in my room,” Morgan stated. “I’m staying in your old room, and the Henderson’s are staying with us because of problems with their new build. Remember?”

I shot my sister a dirty look.

“It’s crazy at our house,” Dad said, “and I want Georgiana to have some privacy. Your house is perfect for that.”
