His arms tightened around me, his stiff length digging against the small of my back. “I didn’t ask you to leave.”

“Probably for the best.” I shifted to lie on my back. “I’ll only keep you up.”

“I’m already up.” When Remy rolled on top of me, it was a shock to feel his naked skin and hard cock against mine. “And I know just the thing to keep you occupied.”

“Fuck.” I hooked my legs around his hips and rutted against him. He huffed a laugh before taking my hands and trapping them against the pillows above my head.

“Wanna kiss you,” Remy said, and before I could worry about morning breath, he took my mouth, his tongue tangling with mine in a slow, deep dance that made my toes curl.

He released my fingers to cup my face, his lips soft against mine. With my hands free, I couldn’t resist letting my nails feather along his rib cage to his ass, drawing a full-body shiver.

It felt indulgent to have this time with Remy as he kissed my throat and jaw and ear as if he had all the time in the world. I could totally get used to this.

When he rolled his hips, it sent a shockwave through me, and I hung on for the ride. Somehow with the quiet dawn breaking through the window, it felt way more intimate than what we’d done last night. He was pressed so close, using his body to bring us pleasure, and it left me breathless.

Remy’s eyes were softened, his jaw slack, and I tried to read the emotions in his expression. We watched each other, breathing the same air as we slowly thrust our hips, both of our cocks leaking. It was reminiscent of that first time on the dock, but better. So much better.

My orgasm was bearing down on me, but I didn’t want this to end—this softness, this closeness to Remy. The kind of connection I didn’t even know I needed.

“Remy,” I croaked, my breaths puffing against his lips.

“I know,” he murmured as if reading my mind. He pecked my lips. “Just…one more minute.”

We ground our hips together as we kissed and panted against each other’s mouths. Before long, we were both skating on the edge, our movements growing more sloppy and erratic.

Remy pressed his forehead to mine, and I felt his breath against my lips as he groaned and shuddered his release onto my stomach. I wrapped my legs around him, holding on for dear life as my own orgasm quaked through me, my come mixing with his on my skin.

We were sweaty and sticky, but neither of us seemed to care. He didn’t pull away, just smiled and kissed me lazily. I pulled him tighter, and we fell into the haze of sleep as our bodies finally relaxed.

Eventually, he rolled away from me, the cool air hitting my skin, and I shivered. A moment later, he was back with a damp washcloth to wipe us down.

“So what is it that you swimmers do with free time?” he asked with a wink as he slipped into shorts and a tee.

“Eat, of course,” I teased, reaching for my shirt and tugging it over my head.

“Well, then, I got you covered,” he said, heading for the door. “C’mon.”

I had no idea what he had in mind, but if we were heading out, I needed to fix myself up a bit first. “Need to take a leak,” I said, motioning to the bathroom.

“Meet you downstairs,” he said over his shoulder.

When I shut the door behind me and looked in the mirror, I was a hot mess, my hair sticking up all over the place and my face red from his scruff. But I smiled at myself anyway as I took a piss, fixed my hair, and rinsed my mouth using my finger and some toothpaste.

The smell of breakfast hit my nostrils as I came downstairs. “What in the world?” I padded to the kitchen and saw Remy hovering over two frying pans, one with eggs and another with bacon.

“Told you I’d hook you up.” He motioned for me to take a seat at the table. I could hear the smile in his voice, and it warmed my stomach. “Thankfully, Derek made a grocery run last night.”

As if he’d been summoned home right then, Derek pushed through the front door and stopped in his tracks.

“You’re just in time,” Remy said. “Unless you’re heading straight to bed.”

Derek looked worse than I had, with his crumpled clothes and jacked-up hair.

He scrubbed a hand over his face and groaned. “I can’t pass up being fed.”

“Looks like you and Alex have something in common,” Remy said, and I laughed.

Derek toed out of his shoes and headed straight to the cupboard. He got a glass, filled it with water, and once he’d gulped it down, turned to acknowledge me.
