FIFTEEN

AMOS

“Hey, big brother, I hope you don’t mind, but I brought a few stragglers along.” I left Genevieve in bed after taking a quick nap after she rode my cock. She came hard and fast, pulling me right along with her. Trey offered to get shit started this morning, and my ranch hand would be there, too, which meant I didn’t need to rush to start my day.

“Hey, little sister.” I hug her. “What’s up, Case man?” I fist bump him seeing as how he’s on Sienna’s hip. He kicks his little feet to get down and then starts talking, “B…b…bison are here to stay?” He works on talking in complete sentences. It’s been an uphill battle from the very beginning, and Ryland has been number one in his corner, along with the rest of the family. It’s been a rally from the day Case was placed in Ry’s hands, fuckin’ literally.

“Yeah, buddy, you wanna go see them with me?” His hand goes to mine. He’s tugging me along to the pasture where the newest herd is settling in for the time being. Once we make sure they didn’t bring anything with them that could endanger the original herd, we’ll put them all together. I don’t think for a minute Clay would have anything wrong with his livestock, but when this is your bread and butter, you take precautions all the same.

“Pweasee,” Case says.

“You got it.” I look up and find Ryland and Trey walking our way.

“Hey, where’s Genevieve?” Sienna asks as we start heading to the pasture. The hot wire isn’t on yet. We’ve been adding to the wide-open spaces to give them more room with the addition.

“Asleep,” I proudly say. Sienna shakes her head with exasperation. I gave her more information than she probably needed, but payback’s a bitch. It wasn’t long ago when I walked in on my sister and best friend. I swore I’d need bleach for my eyes for days afterwards.

“TMI, too much information. I guess I’ll talk with her later, you know, once you’re done hogging my bestie. You’re welcome, by the way,” she states as if she had a hand in getting Genevieve and me together. Sienna may have helped move the process along, but I would have had her anyway. I’d have done anything and everything to make it happen.

“Don’t start. You get her how many hours a day? I took her with me for what, three nights and four days. She’s in my bed, a hop, skip, and a jump away from where you’re living now instead of her place how far away from Two Chicks?” Sienna looks at me, mouth agape like I’ve just grounded her when I caught her trying to walk out of the house in a minuscule top and smaller skirt when she was only thirteen.

“I hope you fix where she lives, and soon. Her commute is crazy. She’s spending a fortune, and the only plus about her apartment is that her dad lives close. Still, he’s been talking about retiring to Arizona.” She gives me even more information to store for a later date. Genevieve has yet to say anything about being left in a town without her dad. She also hasn’t mentioned when she wanted to head back to her apartment. Which works well for me because I don’t want her to leave.

“Oh, believe me, I will. The only time she’ll be at her apartment is to pack everything up and bring it here,” I respond. I’m more than ready to make this happen. Tomorrow, if I have my choice. Hopefully, I can persuade her just as easily, and if I can’t, well, I know one way to get her to come to my side, and that’s with orgasms.

“Good. I’m happy for you.” Sienna bumps my shoulder with hers.

“While I’ve got you to myself for a minute, are you opposed to me making changes around here?” My thoughts wander to Genevieve almost falling due to the small rocks we use for the driveways and walkways. She’ll live here permanently soon enough.

“Amos, I’ve told you before, and I’ll tell you again. This place is yours. You’ve put in the time and the effort. Do I want some of the benefits of walking over and hanging around with you and the animals? Yes. But as far as the farm and house are concerned, they’re yours. My inheritance is more than enough,” she says. This is her namesake as much as it is mine.

“We’ll agree to disagree,” I grunt, trying to figure out a way to make everything kosher.

“How about this? Next week, I’ll come over. We’ll hammer out details and come to an agreement that will work for the both of us and go from there.” My baby sister is thinking evenly, a hell of a lot more than me.
