I can tell she’s uncomfortable right now, and I don’t want that. I don’t want her to be upset, worried, or uncomfortable in any way. I want to take care of this issue with her car, take her back to my place, and give her a nice meal and anything else she needs or wants.

“What’s your name?” I ask her.

“Jess,” she replies.

Perfect.

“Jess, I’m Liam,” I say, going over to my truck and opening the door for her. Then, as I can see she’s still timid, I go back to my side to keep my distance from her. “And don’t worry. This isn’t a horror movie.”

She smiles, and it goes right to my chest. Her tits bounce as she skips over to her side and hops into the truck. She closes her eyes and slides back in her seat as the full blast of the AC hits her in the face.

“Oh, that’s the stuff,” she moans, stretching out to bask in the coolness. I have to chuckle, but with her not looking, I can run my eyes all the way up and down her body and take it all in.

I’m stripping her naked in my mind. She has an unbelievably perfect body. She’s dressed like a Texas girl, but she’s not from here, I can tell that much. I don’t care if she’s all sweaty either. I’d like to get her naked and run my tongue all over her.

“So you’ll give me a ride back to my house?” she suggests.

My body goes tight. Back to her house? I just got her in my truck. The last thing I want to do is lose her again. Ever.

“That depends,” I say. “Where’s your house?”

“Do you know Lake Austin?”

Relief washes over me, and I burst out laughing. “Lake Austin, sweetie? Yeah, that’s not happening. Not today at least.”

“What do you mean?” She’s looking back at me timidly with such vulnerability in her eyes, emerald green eyes that have me feeling like my whole entire world belongs to her now.

God she’s gorgeous.

I’ve never experienced this before – this feeling of staring into a woman’s eyes and feeling like I’ve been hit by a wrecking ball.

I feel like an idiot admitting this to myself, but this is love at first sight and I’m damn sure of it. If only I were a poet or a songwriter and knew how to put it into words.

Living the lifestyle I live, moving from town to town for work, it’s not like I haven’t met my fair share of women before. But I’ve made an oath to myself to never form any attachments. It’s just easier that way.

But I can see that this woman is going to force me to break that oath.

“Lake Austin is a long haul from here, sweetie,” I say. “The sun’s nearly down, and I’m not about to make that drive back again tomorrow morning with a can of gas before heading off to work.”

“But then what—”

“You can come stay at my place,” I tell her. “It’s not far from here. We can get you gas in the morning so you’ll be able to head home.”

If I let you leave that is.

Jess bites her lip. I can see her contemplating, as she should be. She glances down at her phone, which I’m sure has barely one bar if it has any at all.

“Just…let me call my dad again and see if he can come get me.”

“You can try.” I shrug. “But reception out here is basically non-existent.”

“Okay, give me one second.”

Her juicy tits bounce as she hops out of the truck, and I get another fantastic view of her ass as she turns around, pressing her phone to her ear. Christ, she’s fine.

My heart is pumping with excitement. Lake Austin? This girl comes from money. I bet her dad has her all set up with the son of one of his friends—some arranged marriage type shit that those rich assholes always do.

But I could care less. I’ll show her what a real man is like and make her mine. When I’m done with her, she won’t even know what hit her. She’ll be telling stories to our grandchildren about how the happiest day of her life was when her car broke down out there on the Texas highway.

“Well, you were right,” she sighs, climbing back into my truck. “Absolutely no service whatsoever. I guess it’s your place for the night.”

“Don’t sound so excited,” I reply. “Remember, this isn’t a horror movie, sweetie. You’ll be fine.”

In fact, you’ll be more than fine.

“Aside from the fact that I don’t have a spare change of clothes or anything,” she says as I pull away and head for my house. “Good thing it’s only for one night, I guess.”

I smile, taking a deep inhale of her sweet scent, embedding it in my lungs.
