Jude didn’t chuckle, didn’t grin, didn’t do anything but stare at Snow and some of the shock Snow felt was coming right back at him. Black eyes locked with his and something moved between them that flooded Snow’s chest with warmth, made his stomach flutter. He wrapped his arms around Jude’s neck and buried his face in his throat. He inhaled the scent of sweat and come and felt the wet head of Jude’s soft dick against his belly and realized the man had come again just from sucking Snow’s dick.

Holy shit, was all he could still process—even in his own head.

Chapter 13

The low rumble of Jude’s stomach finally spurred Snow into moving. It was a sad day when he started avoiding his friend because he didn’t want to face a little razzing—fuck knows he’d dealt out more than his fair share over the years. The difference was that Jude wasn’t some nameless quickie in a bar bathroom. He didn’t know what the hell Jude was, but he did know that he wasn’t sharing.

“Hungry?” Snow asked, sitting on the edge of the bed. He looked over his shoulder at Jude, marveling at the beauty of his body stretched out against the twisted comforter like a muscular jungle cat in a patch of sunlight.

Jude’s stomach rumbled again and he pressed his hand against it, blushing. “Yeah. I came right over after I got off my shift. Haven’t grabbed dinner yet.” Sitting up, he slid over and nuzzled Snow’s neck, sliding the tip of his tongue along his ear lobe so that a chill skimmed down his spine. “Though you were a nice appetizer.”

Snow twisted his upper body just enough so he could grab Jude’s mouth in a slow, lingering kiss. He simply couldn’t get enough. But just as he thought about pushing Jude back down to the mattress for another round, his own stomach rumbled, causing Jude to chuckle. For the first time in what seemed like days, Snow was hungry.

“Let’s raid Lucas’s kitchen for food,” Snow murmured, his lips brushing against Jude’s.

“Think they’re still down there?”

Snow rose to his feet and picked up the towel he’d left on the dresser after using it to dry off. He quickly wiped himself off then tossed it to Jude. “My luck? Yes. And they heard it all.”

Jude groaned but said nothing else as they quickly dressed and headed down the stairs. As Snow crossed the living room the sound of banging pots and running water reached his ears. Had Ian stopped by as well? Snow didn’t know whether to curse his ever worsening luck when faced with the prospect of teasing from both Lucas and Ian, or rejoice that Ian was going to be the one providing the dinner. But as he turned the last corner, Snow’s mouth dropped open. In the kitchen were only Lucas and Andrei. And they were…cooking.

“You have got to be shitting me,” Snow muttered, unable to take another step closer. Andrei looked up from where he was chopping vegetables while Lucas turned around from the stove, both with expectant, confused expressions on their faces. “You don’t cook.” He pointed an accusing finger at Lucas.

“It’s just steaks,” Andrei countered, returning his attention to the vegetables on the cutting board in front of him.

“We thought you’d need to eat. Build your strength back up,” Lucas shot back, flashing a wicked grin at both of them before looking back at the stove.

“Probably low on iron,” Andrei added, not looking up at them.

“Vitamin deficient,” Lucas chimed in.

Andrei shook his head. “Not necessarily.”

Lucas turned around, his hand coming to rest on Andrei’s lower back as he looked over the Romanian’s shoulder at the various piles of chopped vegetables in front of him. “How’s that?”

Snow held his breath, waiting. These two had carried this entire conversation in a light, easy tone as if they were discussing the chances of more rain that week. But he could see the tension in their expressions, their struggle to hold back the laughter. He didn’t even want to look over at Jude.

“Sounded like they took turns,” Andrei finally answered. His eyes lifted and he saw a dark, mischievous look that probably brought Lucas to his knees more than once. “Could have swallowed. Not a vitamin wasted.”

“You know what?” Snow lifted his middle finger, directing it at Lucas. “Fuck you.” And then moved it to Andrei. “And fuck you.” Both men knocked into each other laughing. Snow was stunned when he heard soft laughter beside him. He twisted around to find Jude blushing, but laughing as well.

“They got us,” he said with a wink that caused Snow’s heart to flutter. Jude placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed gently, sending some of the tension oozing out of the muscles under his long fingers. He was right. Snow had been on the receiving end of so much teasing because of his sexual habits and it had never bothered him before. He just wasn’t sure if it had to do with the fact that the teasing involved Jude or because he was still trying to rebound from the past week’s absolute hell. He was hoping it was the latter. Jude was possibly something else and he didn’t have the energy to contemplate it.
