Asher pushed the sheet down and climbed out of bed. He slowly stalked over to Daniel, who was searching the top of the dresser, clasped his bony shoulder, and pulled him against his chest. He cupped the back of Daniel’s head with one hand and placed the other at the small of his back, forcing him to still.
“Shh, what’s up with you? You’re twenty kinds of jittery all of a sudden.”
At those words, Daniel deflated and melted against Asher. “I hate flying,” he confessed quietly. “I know it’s perfectly safe, that, statistically, driving is much more dangerous and all that other stuff, but I still hate it, which is ridiculous considering how much traveling I’ve done. I mean, you’d think it’d get easier, right?” Daniel sighed deeply. “But it still scares me.”
Daniel was trembling in his arms, he could feel the man’s hot breath fan across his chest, and suddenly Asher was achingly hard. He grunted and thrust against Daniel’s belly. Daniel gasped and pushed long fingers between them, trailed them across Asher’s hip, and then curled them around his erection.
“I can take care of this for you,” Daniel whispered.
“Oh, you’ll definitely be taking care of it,” Asher replied. “But not right now. We’re going to grab a shower, get dressed, pack, and head out.” He clasped Daniel’s shoulders and moved him an arm’s length away. “I told you I’d take care of you and I meant it. That means you’re not missing a flight on my watch.”
“Yeah, okay,” Daniel relented. He took in a deep breath and gave Asher a shaky smile. “I didn’t intentionally miss my flight out here, you know? I just dread getting on the plane, so I put it off and sometimes….” He shrugged.
“I understand. But you’ve never been on a plane with me, right?” Asher cupped Daniel’s chin and ran his thumb over the man’s bottom lip, wondering how it’d feel pressed against his own. “I’ll take care of you.”
It was, Asher figured, an easy promise to make. After all, it wasn’t as if the plane was going to crash. But the way Daniel looked at him when he said it, the complete trust and awe in his eyes, made Asher feel like he’d do anything to make sure this flight experience would be better for Daniel than merely not crashing to earth in a fiery ball. Speaking of fiery balls….
“You know, sugar, if we get in the shower right now, we may just have enough time to make sure you’re good and relaxed before this flight.”
Daniel yanked his shirt over his head and tossed it onto his duffel bag, which was wedged next to the dresser. His boxers followed right after.
“Let’s go,” he said eagerly.
ASHER raked his gaze over Daniel’s body. The man was gorgeous, all pale skin and lanky limbs. But he was too thin. He trailed a finger down each of Daniel’s protruding ribs.
“We need to get some protein into you.”
“Ugh.” Daniel crinkled his nose. “I can’t even think about food right now. My stomach’s all topsy-turvy.”
He dropped his towel on the bathroom floor and walked out. Asher shook his head, picked the towel up, and placed it on the counter next to his own. Then he threw out the travel-size shampoo and conditioner bottles from the shower and wiped everything down. He answered Daniel as he walked out of the bathroom.
“Well, how about a protein drink for now, and then when we get home, I’ll grill you a big steak and a baked potato with all the fixings?”
Daniel was bent over his bag, his tight, white ass tilted upward invitingly. Asher had never wanted to get inside something so badly.
“Oh, God. Seriously, Ash. Just the idea of putting something in my mouth right now makes me want to throw up.” Daniel found a pair of underwear and stepped into them. It was the first time Asher had seen anybody wear boxer briefs that didn’t hug every curve.
“You didn’t seem to have so much as a gag reflex ten minutes ago when I was filling your mouth and your throat,” Asher reminded him.
Daniel turned around. “Oh, is that what you meant by a protein drink?” He darted his gaze from Asher’s face to his sated cock and gave him a saucy smile. “You’re already ready to go again? That’s some refractory period you’ve got, old man.”
Asher strode over to Daniel, cupped his ass, and lifted him off the ground. “You’re a little shit,” he said with a laugh.
Daniel smiled at him, his eyes warm and twinkling. He looked from Asher’s eyes to his mouth and back again, the question clear. Then he stretched his neck and tilted his face up toward Asher’s. Instead of moving away, which was his normal response when a guy tried to kiss him, Asher licked his lips and thought about how much he wanted to kiss the person he held in his arms. Then he moved one of his hands back and let it fly, giving Daniel’s globes two smacks in short order.
