“My pants? Why?” She looked at him suspiciously.
“So I can take your temperature,” Doc explained easily.
Finally, everything clicked into place in her mind. “You think you’re going to put that in my bottom?”
“Either I am or your Daddy is,” Doc answered.
Ivy started to shake her head in denial, but Doc cradled her head between his hands, stopping her. “No sudden movements.”
“Daddy it is,” Steele said firmly. He picked up Ivy from the couch and rotated her body slowly so he didn’t discombobulate her brain as he sat down. She clutched at his calves, finding herself over his lap. Pressing one hand firmly against the middle of her back, he pulled her panties and leggings halfway down her thighs.
Cool air rushed over her skin, making Ivy shiver. Reaching back, she grabbed the bottom of his vest and tugged it. “Daddy?”
“It’s okay, Little girl. I’m going to take care of you. You’re safe with me and Doc. Let us check that you’re feeling okay.” Steele rubbed his hand over her lower back and over the swell of her buttocks.
Ivy risked a look up at Doc. He wasn’t even looking at her butt. Doc had picked up the lubricant and was dipping the end into the thick mixture. When he lifted his head and their gazes met, he reassured her, “Little girls need special treatment from their Daddies. I’m just here to assess you medically.”
She couldn’t help but notice that as they talked, he passed the thermometer to the man holding her firmly in place. With a gigantic sigh, Ivy lowered her head to dangle over her Daddy’s lap. At least I’m not getting spanked.
“Good girl,” Steele praised before spreading her bottom to reveal the small, tight opening hidden between her cheeks.
The rounded tip pressed against the ring of muscles and slid easily inside her body. The lubricant made it impossible for her to keep it out by tightening her muscles. Steele pressed it inside until it stopped, poking her a bit. The rod was cold and seemed to radiate through the walls of her channel.
“Little girls sometimes try to keep their Daddies from placing the thermometer fully in their bottoms. Twist the end slightly as you press in. You may find that she hasn’t allowed it to enter completely,” Doc counseled.
Ivy wrinkled her nose and snorted her displeasure as Steele pressed the thick device deeper inside her. “Doc knows your tricks, Ivy.”
“I feel sorry for his Little girl,” she grouched.
“I haven’t been lucky enough to find my Little girl, Ivy. I hope I will soon,” Doc shared.
“Lucky!” Ivy whined, reaching with one hand for her teddy bear who had fallen off the couch as Steele moved her.
“Doc, would you get the stuffie who tumbled off the couch? That’s Lucky.” Steele rubbed her back once again with one hand while the other lay against her buttocks, holding the device inside.
“Of course.”
She saw his feet appear in front of her. Doc squatted easily at her side and held the stuffie for her to grab. “Lucky is a very fortunate bear to have ended up in the arms of a Little.”
Eager to think of anything other than the thermometer in her bottom, Ivy kissed Lucky before hugging him to her chest. Curious, she asked, “Why is it better to be the stuffie of a Little girl?”
“Lucky won’t be a toy that is forgotten. He’ll never sit on a shelf and get dusty. I would bet five years from now you’ll still kiss his left ear.”
“I don’t always kiss his left ear,” Ivy denied as Doc stood back up to lounge against the wall as he observed her treatment.
“You do. Then you hug him tight,” Steele corrected her gently.
“Is it time for that thing to come out?” Ivy asked, feeling self-conscious that her Daddy had watched her cuddle with her bear when she thought he was busy.
“Not yet. Two more minutes. I’d carried Lucky around in my saddlebag on my bike for several months. He was lonely and needed a friend,” Steele admitted.
“Do all the Shadowridge Guardians have teddy bears on their bikes?”
“They do. We carry them to give to anyone who needs a stuffie to love them—kids, adults, and Littles,” Steele explained.
A quiet beeping sounded in the room. Immediately, Steele removed the thermometer and checked her temperature. “Two tenths of a degree above normal, Doc.”
“The slight fever indicates it’s most likely a virus and she’ll rebound quickly with rest and fluids. I have a feeling all the stress put Ivy at risk of picking up a bug easily while in a crowd. You’ll have to monitor her, Steele, to make sure it doesn’t rise any higher.”
“Will do, Doc. Naps and push juices?”
“Chilled fresh fruit and lots of water are even better than juice. You can even combine the two and slice something like strawberries or watermelon into her water to flavor it,” Doc suggested. “The pack here has some pain-relieving suppositories if Ivy’s head hurts and she’s not eating. Those have the benefit of lulling a Little who’s in pain but refuses to take a nap.”
