Because my thoughts were making me feel extremely tender towards her, I slowed my strokes into her, being more gentle, so that even my kiss was like a butterfly’s wings.

We moved together slowly, grinding against each other so that there was no space left between us where we were joined. I could feel her walls gyrate around my cock as if sucking me deeper into her, and her heat. Her juices were warm as they trickled down around my cock.

Her nails digging into my back told me that she wanted me to go faster, but I teased her mercilessly with even slower thrusts. Since it was too soon to give her the words she seems to need, this is the only way I have of showing her.

I can’t give her words that I can’t walk away from, won’t make a promise that I don’t keep and I can’t say those words until I’m one hundred percent sure. So I spent the rest of the night into the early morning showing her the only way I knew how.

It was full dark by the time I rolled away form her, but at least there were no more tears. And when she took the initiative and threw her arm across my chest I smiled over her head in the dark before my eyes drooped and I fell into sleep.

In the morning it felt like the most natural thing in the world to share a shower with her, where of course I took her again, before getting ready for school. She made breakfast, which we enjoyed together at the little kitchen table before it was time to go.

It was only then that her nerves began to show. Like she’d forgotten who we were in the time we’d spent together, but now it was all coming back to her. “Um, you should go first I guess.”

“You’re not going to pull another stunt are you? I’m not going to have to come get you later?” She shook her head but still refused to look at me. I left it for now and went out to my truck, which had been parked on the curb all night.

I didn’t notice the flat until I was almost to the end of her street, and didn’t think anything of it while I changed it. She drove by me when I was about done and gave me a quizzical look. I waved her off with a smile and she was gone by the time I hopped back in my truck.

I checked in with her on my first break and then again at lunch, just to make sure she was okay, but text can’t really translate emotion. At least she’d gone to work this time so that was something I guess.

That night after her class I found myself in a quandary. Mom had called in between the end of my regular classes and the evening class to give me the riot act. Apparently she’d been looking for me this morning since I’d missed the whole weekend with the family, and not finding me there again had put her in a mood.

“I’ll follow you home but I can’t stay.” I couldn’t even hang around long enough to steal a kiss since we were standing in the parking lot where the others were still heading to their rides. She just nodded acceptingly and climbed into her car while I walked away.

I followed her home and waited for her to go inside and turn on the lights before heading home. I missed her already and was not too happy about leaving her, but if mom got wind of what I was really up to before I was ready to share things could get sticky.

I sat with mom after I got home and got cleaned up. I ate while she talked my ear off, wanting to know what I’d been up to since she hadn’t seen me for a few days. Had it really been that long?

To hear her tell it, I’d been gone for much longer than is usual, while for me it hadn’t been long enough. I’m not in the habit of lying to her, so I framed my answers very carefully. She seemed pleased enough and left me alone to go to my room under the pretense of doing homework.

As soon as the door was closed behind me I was on the phone. She answered on the second ring and I got the feeling that she’d been sitting there waiting for me to call. The image of her sitting alone in her little house was enough to break my heart and I had to force myself to stay and not rush back to her.

She was trying to sound upbeat, but surprisingly I found that I already knew her well enough to hear what she was trying so hard to hide from me. I didn’t let on though, as I listened to the movement beyond my closed bedroom door.
