Saylor chuckled as I kissed her on the nose. “I need to wrap up one thing, then I’m shutting my computer down,” I said. “Do you need to take care of anything?”

With a grin, she said, “I only need to delete something off my computer. Everything else can wait until tomorrow.”

A warmth spread through my body and seemed to settle in the middle of my chest. “Or Wednesday. I’m thinking we’re both going to be feeling a little under the weather tomorrow.”

Her mouth opened slightly as her eyes sparkled. “You’re bad, Mr. Quinn.”

With a wink, I replied, “You haven’t seen anything yet, Ms. Night.”

“You needed me, Mr. Quinn?” Ashley asked from where she stood on the other side of my desk.

“Yes, Saylor…Ms. Night and I will be leaving for the rest of the day. I highly doubt we’ll be in tomorrow as we’re…researching something together.”

I had to hand to Ashley, she was doing a good job of hiding her smile, but the red on her cheeks gave her away.

“Yes, Mr. Quinn. I understand.”

With a grin, I added, “And I want you to finish up anything that’s pressing and then take the rest of the day and tomorrow off as well.”

Her eyes widened in shock. “You want me to take tomorrow off?”

“Paid, of course. I also need you to do some research. The new spa that opened around the corner—have you seen it?”

She nodded.

“They’re looking to do some new advertising. I need you to go in tomorrow and do whatever it is you women do in those places. Charge it to my personal card.”

Now her mouth was practically on the floor. “Are you for real? I mean, are you serious, Mr. Quinn?”

Standing, I tossed a few files into my briefcase that I needed to work on, then shut it. “I’ve never been more serious. Wednesday, I’d like a full report on what you experienced, what you think they could do better, and how you’d suggest running a campaign for them.”

Tears filled my secretary’s eyes. “Yes, sir. I won’t let you down, Mr. Quinn.”

With a quick head bob, I replied, “I know you won’t, Ashley.”

She whirled around on her heels and made a beeline out of my office. Saylor was leaning against the door with a smile on her face.

“I’m glad you finally saw the potential that young lady has.”

Laughing, I rounded my desk and walked up to her. “It’s crazy—my eyes have been opened to a lot of new things since this insanely gorgeous blonde slammed into me not too long ago.”

The way she was looking at me had my cock jumping in my pants. “Let’s go,” I said. “I have a car waiting for us downstairs.”

I opened the door to my place and motioned for Saylor to go in. I’d never in my life brought a woman home. Saylor wasn’t any ordinary woman, though. She wasn’t a random hookup I wanted to sink my dick into. Okay, I did want to sink my dick into her, but over and over again.

“Wow, Mason this place is amazing. Look at that view.”

Smiling, I set my briefcase down on a leather chair and took hers from her hand and placed it next to mine. I made my way over to her and rested my hands on her shoulders. Saylor leaned her head to the side as I placed my lips on the soft skin of her neck.

“I need you to know that I want us to be exclusive.”

“Mmm,” she hummed softly.

“Is that a yes, you agree?”

She turned to face me—her lip caught between her teeth. “Yes. Exclusive is what I want as well.” She glanced down at the floor then back up at me and said, “I haven’t been with anyone since I left Ron.”

The mention of her ex made my blood boil.

I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “I haven’t been with anyone since before the run in.”

Her brows lifted and a stunning smile graced her face. “The run in? Is that what we’re calling it?”

Sliding my hand behind her neck, I pulled her lips closer to me. “I went to Annie’s place one night, but nothing happened. I couldn’t get you out of my thoughts. Out of my heart.”

When her gaze dropped to my mouth, I crushed it against hers. Our kiss quickly turned passionate. The need to be with Saylor was growing by the second.

Reaching down, I lifted her and carried her to my bedroom. Slowly sliding her down my body, I cupped her face and kissed her again. This time making sure I filled it with the desperation I felt to be with her.

“Mason, we need to talk first,” Saylor said as she pulled my dress shirt from my pants. Her hands made quick work of unbuttoning my shirt.

“Talk is overrated, Saylor.”

She giggled. “I was tested after Ron. I don’t think he ever cheated on me, but I needed to know.”
