He lifted me and positioned my legs around his waist before he carried me upstairs to my bedroom. Our kisses continued all the way up the stairs, until he got me on the bed so he could remove my bottoms. He took the trousers and underwear at the same time and pulled them free.

I was fully naked on the bed, anxious for his narrow hips to fit between my thighs and his big dick to sink into my wetness. I watched him lower over me, felt the mattress sink as his weight dispersed the support, and then finally, he moved on top of me. My palms felt his hard chest pass by me as he got into position, his skin even darker now that he was so close to having me.

He settled between my thighs but didn’t sink inside me. “You should be afraid right now.”

I grabbed on to his hips and tilted my pelvis, wanting to drag him inside me. “Bastian…” I gave him a tug. “I’ve never wanted you more.” I felt his length catch my slit, and I pulled him inside, directing him into a slow and deep sink. My eyes closed, and I moaned the whole time, like sex had never felt this good—because it hadn’t.

When he felt me, his reaction was the same. A deep groan escaped his throat from all the way down in his chest. Once he was fully inside me, he released a heavy sigh, a sigh full of so much desire and need.

I grabbed on to his shoulders as I started to rock.

His thrusts synced with mine, and he moved deep and slow, his eyes locking on mine. Even his eyes were a different color now, black like the nighttime sky. He’d never pushed himself like this, but he seemed in complete control.

“I’ve never wanted a man the way I want you…” My hand snaked up his chest as those words tumbled out. He was the most dangerous man I’d ever been with, but somehow, he felt the safest. Every man who’d come before him wasn’t even a memory. This just felt right, from the moment I saw him…like love at first sight.

Those words sank deep into his flesh and chased away the darkness. The color faded completely, his skin the same fair shade it’d been before he kissed me. His eyes were blue once again, clear and fathomless.

Our first time on the couch had been driven by insatiable attraction and desire. It was a means to an end. But this time was different. It was slow and deep, raw with emotion. He didn’t have a soul, but I swore I could feel it as our bodies joined.

Hot breaths filled the bedroom as our slick bodies moved together. Our shadows danced across the wall, and my nails sliced his skin deeper and deeper. With my ankles locked around his waist, I got to lie there and enjoy him, feel him do all the work to make my toes curl, to push me to the edge and make me writhe with a breathless moan. “Bastian…” I gripped him tightly as I came, my thighs squeezing his hips, tears damp in my eyes and blurring my vision. It felt so good, better than last time, better than any other who’d preceded him.

As if he had something to prove, he kept going without needing to stop. All his effort was geared toward me, getting me to climax again and again, as if the first two weren’t enough. His skin never darkened again. He stayed in the moment with me, his hunger not even registering.

I grabbed on to his ass and tugged him inside me. “I want you.”

His body slowed for an instant, his expression hard.

My lips felt his in a short kiss, our breathing too deep for a full embrace.

A loud moan escaped his lips, and he gave his final thrust, feeling the same satisfaction he’d given to me three times in the last hour. His eyes closed for a moment as he felt it, as he writhed just a bit. When it passed, his eyes opened once more, locked on mine.

“You should be afraid right now.”

His fingers moved into my hair, sliding through the strands and pulling them from my face. His eyes took me in for a long time, wearing that intense expression that could burn me from across the room. “Yeah?”

“Because I’m never going to let you go.”

I woke up to him next to me, his chest softly rising and falling with his even breaths. My lips traveled over his hard body and woke him up in the nicest way possible, my head under the sheets with my lips sealed around his shaft. It led to a beautiful morning with my ankles locked around his waist again.

We made it downstairs for coffee and muffins, the two of us sitting together at the dining table. The sunlight came through the open window and warmed the wood underneath our mugs. Little dust particles were in the air, gently hovering in the perfect stillness. I devoured my pecan muffin, but he didn’t touch his.
