The brush of his hair and the scratch of the scruff on his face made another little shiver course through me even as his hand lifted, gently pushing me against the wall, then pressing my thighs apart enough for him to move between.

Leaning into the wall for support, I lifted my leg, draping it over his shoulder, and feeling a little rumbling sound as it vibrated through him while his lips pressed a kiss to my innermost thigh.

All thoughts flew out of my mind then as his head shifted, his fingers teased my panties out of the way, and I felt his tongue slide up my cleft, then start to circle my clit.

My good hand grabbed the back of his neck, holding him to me as my casted hand rested on his shoulder.

He worked me slowly, but relentlessly, driving me up faster than seemed possible as my hips rocked against him, as my fingers dug into the back of his neck.

My soft sighs turned into low moans. The sound encouraged him as his hand lifted, his fingers teasing, then slipping inside of me, the sensation making my thighs shake even as my walls tightened around his fingers.

His other hand slid up and down my thigh, creating little sparks of electricity, before slipping backward to sink into my ass, holding on as he started to thrust faster, as his tongue picked up speed.

My gaze lifted, catching our reflections in the mirror, watching as I rocked against his movements, as his head slanted over and over.

My breath felt constricted in my chest as he drove me ever closer to that edge. My thighs started to shake as my moans filled the room.

Then just like that, the orgasm was crashing through my system, making me cry out, making my legs go weak, and if it weren’t for my leg over Silvano’s shoulder, and his hand holding my ass, I was pretty sure I would have ended up on the ground as the waves crashed through me endlessly.

He worked me relentlessly through it, making sure he got every last good sensation out of me, before his fingers were sliding out, and he was slowly moving to stand.

Then, that intense, dark-blue gaze on mine, he lifted his hand upward, and slid his fingers into his mouth, tasting me again, before slowly sliding them out.

“You’re all set,” he said.

Then with that, and nothing else, he was gone.

I couldn’t tell you how long I leaned against that wall, staring at myself in the mirror. The flushed skin. The rapid breathing. Unable, it seemed, to pull myself back together until I heard a bark from Storm, then the tap-tap of his nails across the apartment.

The door opened and closed.

Then silence.

He’d taken Storm for another walk.

After going down on me.

If I had any girlfriends, this would be the story that I told them that had them going Girl, marry that man.

Marry?

What the hell?

I shook that thought off, and moved closer to the mirror, placing my hands on the cool countertop, waiting for my body to calm all the way back down before I reached for the rest of the makeup. Doing my lashes, swiping on some liner, and even some of the understated lipstick he’d bought.

I had no idea if this guy had sisters, a long line of exes, or if he was just the kind of guy who figured it was better to go overboard when buying things rather than not getting enough, but his selections of makeup were perfect for just about any occasion.

Makeup done, I slid on the dress, finding it flirty, but loose enough to hide the bandages currently dulling the pain in my ribs.

I tousled my hair, then, not having any perfume, I slathered on some of the cinnamon-sugar lotion he’d brought back with him the second day I’d been staying with him.

At some point, he came back with Storm.

I waited a moment, feeling a surprising jangle of nerves, before slipping into the ballet flats—the only shoes I had—and making my way out of the bathroom.

Silvano was waiting, looking somehow even sexier than he’d been a half an hour before.

At the sound of me approaching, his gaze looked up from his phone, and I got to watch as his gaze moved over me, getting heavier lidded and more intense by the time he made it back up to my face.

“Fuck, Mills,” he said.

I had a feeling that Silvano was not a man of flowery words. So this was more than enough of a compliment.

My lips curved up as I approached.

“Not bad for someone who could barely move a few days ago, huh?” I asked, glancing around.

“What’re you looking for?”

“I… nothing, I guess,” I said, glancing back at him. “It’s weird to have nothing to grab,” I admitted.

I mean, normally, I had a triple-check system, making sure I had a purse with a phone, wallet, keys, some backup makeup, mints, maybe even a condom if I was going out on a date. Just in case.
