She pressed her back against it, and even though her heart raced, she looked at Mason. Before leaving the kitchen, she had also picked up her book, and the page was marked with the square of the corner pressed down.
Tamsin handed him the book. “Please, read it.”
Mason frowned. “You want me to read your book?”
“Yes.”
He raised a brow but she refused to budge.
Mason sighed and then took a few steps back. He opened the book to where she had marked and began to read.
Tamsin nibbled her bottom lip and waited, her nerves slowly building as they started to get the better of her. She didn’t know what to say, think, or what to do.
Mason sat on the edge of the bed and flicked the page.
What did he think?
Did he like it?
Did he know what to do?
He’d been open and honest with her. Before he met her, there had been other women. Since he met her, there hadn’t been anyone else.
She waited, curious, and a little terrified.
And then he closed the book and lifted his head.
“You want me to have sex with you?” he asked.
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“I … I want to feel it.” She felt her cheeks go bright red. “I mean, if you don’t want to, I completely understand. You’ve been with lots of other women and I’m sure I can find someone else—” She didn’t get chance to finish that statement as within a few short seconds, he closed the distance between them.
He slammed his palms on either side of her head. “Don’t.”
Tamsin tilted her head back to look at him. Was it wrong that she found his … domineering stance a turn-on?
She pressed her hands against his chest and slowly drew them up to circle his neck. “Don’t what? Don’t wonder about us? Don’t think about another man?”
In response, he growled and that sound thrilled her. She liked that he didn’t want her thinking of anyone but him. Tamsin didn’t want to admit it, but the thought of another woman with her man was enough to make her blood boil. Mason was her husband. No one else was allowed to touch him.
He sunk his fingers into her hair and tightened his grip on the strands. She felt the tension in his body.
“Mason, I don’t want any other man.” She slid her hands up his chest. “I only want you.”
She knew this was risky and scary, and completely exhilarating at the same time. She didn’t want this to end.
He released a short growl, and then slammed his lips down on hers. The kiss was hard, brutal even, and she knew it would bruise her lips but she didn’t care.
His other hand grabbed hold of her hip, drawing her closer, and she felt the ridge of his cock as it pressed against her core. Another moan escaped her, and he captured it.
Mason had been holding out on her. The kisses were out of this world. Mason was the first one to break the kiss, and he began to trail his lips down her neck, touching on her pulse. That spot right on her neck. Another moan left her, as well as a whimper.
He nibbled, sucking hard, and she knew he was going to leave a mark. At the same time he kissed her neck, he took the strap of her sundress and lowered it down her body. He reached behind her, easing the zipper down, and the dress fell to the floor. She didn’t try to stop it.
Mason took care of her underwear with ease, just a simple flick of the catch, and the bra was gone. The panties were a little more difficult, but he tore them off her body.
She let out a moan, a little taken aback by his sheer power. Everything he did turned her on. She didn’t want him to stop. There was a craving deep inside her.
Mason suddenly cupped her face and forced her to look at him. “If you want this to stop at any point, you tell me to stop.”
“And if I don’t want to stop?”
“Then I won’t stop.”
Tamsin loved the sound of that.

Mason hadn’t told Tamsin all that he learned. There was no point in thinking about that now. He needed to focus on his wife. He should have known what she wanted him to read. He had seen the book and been curious and looked it up online. When it came to his wife, he didn’t seem to be able to think straight.
He wanted to learn everything about her—to know what made her tick. He’d purchased a copy of the book, and when he was alone, he read it, knowing it was highly sexual.
Moving Tamsin away from their bedroom door, he took her toward the bed, but then she stopped him.
“Wait.”
He held himself perfectly still. His cock was still trapped in the tight confines of his pants, and it was fucking painful, and he was struggling to think clearly.
