God. Yes.

He grabbed a pillow and put it under her ass, raising her up. Then he spread her cheeks, running his finger over her asshole before grabbing his cock and pressing it to the tight bud.

A moan escaped her.

His balls were tight. Aching. And he longed to just thrust his way inside her. But he forced himself to hold back. To slide inside her carefully.

“Deep breath in. Slowly out. That’s my girl. Tell me you’re all right.”

“I’m good.”

“You feel amazing.” So tight. So hot. He moved his hands to the bed on either side of her so he could stare down at her, monitor her as he pushed deep into her.

By the time he was fully inside her ass, her warmth surrounding his dick, they were both breathing heavily.

“How do you feel? Any pain?” he asked, hoping like hell that she didn’t want him to leave her.

Because he didn’t think he could do it.

“You feel so good,” she told him. “But, please, move. Please.”

“Your wish is my command, baby.”

And then he started to fuck her. He nearly came then and there. He had to pause and take a breath to calm himself.

“Baby, hell. You don’t know how good you feel.” He ran his hand over her stomach, then squeezed her breast. “You’re going to be the death of me.”

“You’ve already killed me. So I’m just gonna lie here and let you do all the work, okay?”

He had to grin.

How had he ended up so fucking lucky as to get this girl?

He knew it wasn’t because he’d done anything good in his life. He hadn’t.

Well, maybe he had when he’d killed Orlando Crane. Perhaps this was his reward.

This girl.

His girl.

He started moving again. Slowly at first. Then faster. Harder.

Moving a finger to her clit, he played with it as he fucked her.

“Please, please,” she cried. “Oh God!”

“Tell me about it,” he replied. “Come for me, baby.”

Her cries of pleasure mingled with his own as he pushed deep and came inside her. She clenched down on him and he moaned.

Lord help him. He was addicted to her. Sliding free of her, he collapsed before moving onto his back and drawing her over him.

Breathing heavily, a smile broke out on his face.

He loved her.

He’d told her.

Perhaps he wasn’t just the man his father had made him to be. Perhaps he could be someone else.

Someone worthy of this girl.

Jilly looked at herself in the mirror.

She wasn’t sure that this felt right. She was wearing skinny jeans and a black top that went off one shoulder. The outfit was lovely.

It was just not her.

Biting her lip, she turned.

The girls had chosen this outfit, though. So perhaps she should pretend to like it?

Gracen, Aston, and Thea had asked her to go shopping with them. Gracen’s friend, Samantha, had come along as well. She was guessing that Regent had arranged it. However, she wasn’t sure this was working. Perhaps she should have come on her own.

Right. Like you’d know what to buy.

Now she wished she’d invited Dan. She hadn’t seen her friends for a while and she was missing them. But she’d arranged to meet them for lunch at her house this weekend.

“Hey, you okay in there?” Samantha called out.

“Samantha!” Gracen scolded. “Have some patience.”

“But she’s been in there forever. She might have had a heart attack and died. Don’t you want to know if she’s had a heart attack and died?” Samantha asked.

“You think she’s died in there?” Aston asked, sounding worried. “Jilly? Please don’t die. Regent will kill us.”

Was that the only reason they cared?

“Not to mention we like you and would miss you,” Gracen added.

Her upset faded. Taking a deep breath, she let it out slowly. Before stepping out, she forced a smile onto her face.

There. That was better.

All of the women stared at her and she could feel herself blushing. Maybe she should have done this as Nyx.

No. Nope. You have this.

“Good! You like it!” Samantha said.

“Nope, she hates it,” Thea said.

“What? She’s smiling.”

“But she’s tense,” Gracen told her. “And that smile looks all wrong.”

“And Regent told us to be careful about this,” Aston added. Then she looked chagrined as Thea and Gracen glared at her. “Oh crap. Jilly, I’m sorry.”

Jilly widened her smile.

Don’t show that you’re hurt. Don’t show it.

“It’s all right. I guessed that he asked you to take me clothes shopping,” she reassured them, even as that knot in her stomach grew.

“But that’s not why we said yes,” Thea told her. “We said yes because we want to spend time with you.”

“We like you,” Gracen added gently.

“Who wouldn’t like you? You’re amazing. You’re funny and kind and you’re the best thing to ever happen to Regent,” Aston said.

The noise of someone blowing their nose drew all of their attention and Jilly looked over at Samantha, who appeared tearful. She waved her hand in the air. “Don’t mind me. That was just so sweet.”
