Nero gave a choked moan and moved his left hand from Miguel’s thigh to his cock. With the tight grip of his tattooed fingers, he jerked Miguel dry, straight into his mouth, which was already overflowing with spunk.

And then—Miguel could hardly fucking believe it—Nero’s entire body jerked and went tense as sticky heat splashed Miguel’s feet.

He panted, fighting to stand upright. It felt as if his body, after thirty years of disinterest, was now short-circuiting from the amount of desire flowing through it.

“So good. Swallow. Like a good bitch.” He wanted to add please but if Nero asked to be used, Miguel would give him that.

Nero whimpered like a puppy and closed his arms around Miguel’s hips, looking up for approval as he gathered the white streaks from his chin before bringing them straight to his mouth.

“Woof,” he rasped and took Miguel’s cock in with utmost gentleness, and the soft warmth of his mouth drained Miguel of all the energy he still had in him.

In a perfect world, he would have collapsed onto the bed with Nero at his side, but their world was far from perfect, and they needed to leave soon.

He watched Nero suck his softening cock as if he couldn’t get enough of it, and stroked the short hair on top of Nero’s head. “Was that all you dreamed of?” he asked, trying to get some answers without sounding needy.

Nero made an unintelligible grunt and rested his cheek against Miguel’s thigh, trying to catch his breath.

Miguel sighed. “I’m giving you a minute or three, but we will need to go. There could be trouble on the way out.” He hated being the one to pull Nero out of his sex-filled bubble, but someone needed to keep a grip on reality. Still, he smiled and petted the hair, which would start curling if it wasn’t cut again soon.

Nero’s eyes opened, and he gave Miguel a wide, sheepish, grin. “Yeah, yeah. I know. Just really needed that,” he said, exhaling as if he’d been holding in air.

In the past two days, Miguel had smiled more often than in the past two years. They'd barely escaped death several times already, and weren’t out of the woods yet, but he was still floating on a fluffy cloud made of bliss.

It was Nero’s presence that did that to him, so he leaned in to whisper into his ear. “Needed what? Say it.”

Nero shivered and turned his head to meet Miguel’s eyes. “A good dicking.”

That was the only compliment Miguel needed. He kissed the top of Nero’s head. “You’re the best I’ve ever had,” he teased since they both knew he’d been a virgin until very recently.

Nero chuckled and grabbed Miguel’s wrist, pulling himself back to his feet. “I tend to have that effect on people. Now I’ll need to keep up my game so you don’t run away,” he whispered, pressing his chest to Miguel’s.

Miguel had learned to see other men as competition and threats, so he couldn’t stop being amazed by how natural it felt to hold Nero, to slide his hands up the sides of his body and allow the same in return. Even though their time together was limited, and one day Nero would move on, Miguel decided he’d cherish each bright moment and die that bit happier.

But playtime was over, so he patted Nero’s ass on his way out of the shower, satisfied that he was now allowed such liberties. “I’m not running just yet.”

Nero looked over his shoulder, his ass round, muscular, and bare below a back densely covered with tattoos. He was so fucking beautiful. And so fuckable Miguel already dreamed of the things he’d do to his mouth once they settled for the night.

“Don’t try. I’ll find you wherever you go,” Nero said and walked out of the bathroom, heading straight for the bag with their belongings.

He poured its contents out on the bed and rummaged through them before facing Miguel with a bright smile. In his hand was the gold bracelet Miguel had stolen from the American tourist.

Miguel nodded and checked if his gun still had bullets. “Good, it’ll bring in a bit of cash if we pawn it.”

Nero frowned. “Hell no. That’s mine,” he said and handed Miguel the bracelet before offering his left wrist.

A little smile ghosted on Miguel’s lips when he met Nero’s eyes, but he dutifully closed the clasp, happy to see his gift appreciated. “Greedy.”

“What you see is what you get.”

Chapter 22

Nero

Nero was getting to grips with his new phone at a cafe and enjoying a sweet coffee at a tall table. He downed it as his new device paired with the locating app he’d installed on Miguel’s. A part of him wondered whether he should discuss this with his companion, but knowing Miguel’s bull-headed nature, that conversation might just end up at an unnecessary standstill.
