I’m nothing without you

I’ve thanked God a million times since the day I found you

Didn’t know I could fall this hard

Only you could reach this heart that’s been scarred

How can a man know life if he’s missing his wife?

Completion starts where we begin

You’re my lover and my friend—

You’re the flame my soul has been looking for—

I sniffle and swipe my tears. He stops playing to wipe away the rest with his big hands. He kisses me softly before singing the chorus again.

Hear me, baby

I know this might be crazy

But will you marry me tonight—?

I know this might sound crazy

But I need you, baby

Will you marry me tonight—?

“Yes,” I choke out. “Yes.”

He kisses me so hard our teeth knock together. I laugh—squealing when he lifts me from the chair onto his waist. He holds me so tight I think I stop breathing.

“I love you so fucking much. Fuck, I thought I was going to shit my pants,” he chuckles.

I laugh so hard I snort. “You’re insane.”

“About you. We’re in Vegas. Will you marry me after the show?” he whispers.

I let the question sink in. My father and mother will probably lose their shit, but this is my life. I’m thirty-one. I don’t need permission to marry the man I’m madly in love with.

“Yes,” I say, placing my forehead to his.

He kisses me again, this time walking off the stage, heading for his dressing room. He doesn’t stop for anyone or anything, kicking the door closed once we’re inside. This should be interesting.

Bishop

She said yes. I can’t believe she said yes. I’ve been between her legs, making her say it over and over again since.

I had to shove her panties into her mouth to keep her from screaming the walls down. I’ve never been this insatiable, but I’ve never been in love like this before either.

“Come for me one more time,” I say into her ear.

I can feel her tightening around me. I pull her panties from her mouth and shove my tongue inside. I want her to taste herself on my lips.

She screams as I pinch her clit and send her right over. I swallow her cries like the delicious meal they are. My heart swells as it hits me square in the chest that I’ll get to do this for the rest of my life.

“I’m a mess,” she pants.

“Mm,” I murmur, kissing her sweaty temple. “You’re still sexy as fuck to me.”

“I look like I’ve been screwing in the front man’s dressing room,” she says with a lazy smile.

“You have been fucking in the front man’s dressing room,” I chuckle and kiss the tip of her nose. “Don’t worry about it. Come shower with me. I’ll get one of the guys in here to fix you up.”

She gives me a side glance. I laugh and kiss her lips. I’ll always take care of her.

“Benny has flat ironed my hair a few times. Have you seen this shit when it’s down? Trust me, you’ll be good as new,” I reassure her.

New concern fills her eyes. My heart squeezes. If she comes to her senses and tells me to fuck off. I’m going to be crushed. I’ll understand, but it will crush me.

“Babe,” she says as she searches my eyes. “Are you sure about this? Don’t you want to have a prenup drawn up or something? This isn’t the greatest idea for someone with your type of money.”

I cage her face in with my arms as I kiss her. This is why I love her so much. She says those words like a concerned friend, not the girl I’m planning to marry.

“Everything I have is yours. This is right. We’re right. I know it with everything I am,” I say.

“Yeah, but—”

“No buts. We’re getting married before you realize I’m a bottomless pit who sits around playing video games when I’m not recording or on tour,” I tease.

“Whatever will I do?” she rolls her eyes and laughs.

“Love me, baby. That’s all I ask.”

CHAPTER 25

Try Bliss

Saga

He didn’t sing our song for the crowd tonight. I was sort of grateful for that. I want to cherish that song for as long as I can before I have to share it with the world.

“Mrs. Moran,” he croons in my ear as he wraps his arms around me from behind.

Turning my head to look up at him, I can’t help the face-splitting smile I give him. We’ve been married for an hour. I thought I’d freak out by now, but it feels so right to hear him call me Mrs. Moran.

“Yes, husband?” I whisper.

“You have no idea how much I love hearing that shit,” he says against my lips.

I can smell the alcohol he’s been drinking. This is the most I’ve ever seen him drink. I guess he’s celebrating. Although we’ve kept it to ourselves for now.

As far as the guys know, Bishop just sang me a song earlier. No one knows that we acted on the lyrics in it. I mean, that would be crazy, right?
